Department of Botany at HRIST is committed to produce the best quality graduate women equipped with basic and applied knowledge of Botany for their distinguished and dignified identity in the competitive environment. Botany department is determined to promote scholastic ambitions among the potential philosophers through cutting-edge research projects. Students are appreciated to actively take part in scientific conferences and seminars to stay up to date with current research needs in the subject domain, enabling them to develop influential scientific projects, addressing and fulfilling the needs of mankind. To promote learning spirit, the department has an advanced level Botany Lab and a glasshouse/greenhouse for real time/practical demonstration of theoretical knowledge. In addition, an adequate number of HEC recommended books and reference literature is also available at HRIST library in accordance with the approved curriculum.
The department offers BS and M. Sc Botany programs in morning and evening shifts as an affiliated Campus/Institute of the Woman University, Multan to cater academic and research needs of various professional public/private departments including Education, Environment Protection, Pharmaceuticals, Agriculture, and the Industry as well. Botany department is striving for quality education for women in south Punjab through exceptionally talented foreign qualified Ph.D staff and inspiring academic environment.
