If cataclysmic event were to destroy all the knowledge of science, the most important knowledge to pass on to future generation would be everything made of atom, "The Chemistry". All the stuff we see is made of atoms. Chemistry is not just about test tubes and beakers in laboratory, but it is chemical processes going on everywhere all around us and inside us. Department of Chemistry has been providing quality education to students, a fact that has been observed in the appointment of maximum number of students in public and private sectors. Department has highly qualified faculty including foreign qualified PhD faculty members with internationally proven excellence in their specialization. The study programs are semester based. Our department encourages faculty members and students to attend national and international conferences and workshops. Besides extensive academic and research activities, faculty has collaborations with national and international universities. The Department also arranges co-curricular activities for the students to develop and enhance their leadership, literary and research-oriented skills.
